an independent gospel music recording label, another brain child of April Washington-Essex, visionary/owner/CEO of Threefold Music Group, Inc., a well respected independent promotions, marketing and special events firm, was formed in February 2007. Habakkuk Music’s mission is to deliver the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world through gospel music and Christian entertainment.   Habakkuk Music's timely entry into an exploding consumer market is fueled by a response to feed the consumers' hunger for more music with a gospel message.  To this end, Habakkuk seeks to fulfill its vision and mission by rendering a roster of gifted and talented new comers, as well as nationally
recognized recording artists and songwriters.

April Washington-Essex, has been a formidable force in the entertainment industry for over a decade. April started her career in the music industry at Capital Records as a Customer Service
Representative.  She went on to spend 15 years in promotions and distribution at various record labels such as EMI, Motown, Warner Bros (Reprise), and Loud/RCA.  In 1997, she resigned
from Loud Records to form Threefold Music Group, Inc. Threefold Music Group, Inc. provides marketing and promotion services to the gospel music industry by implementing diverse marketing initiatives which include grassroots and lifestyle campaigns, radio promotions, artists’ tour support, as well as retail and internet campaigns.  The company has provided services for artists such as Vicki Winans, CeCe Winans, Deitrick Haddon, Sony Distribution, Tyscot Records, Shekinah Glory Ministries, Israel and New Breed and many others.  The company’s successful campaigns have earned RIAA gold and platinum awards for many projects.

Habakkuk Music’s formidable distribution agreement with Universal Music/Fontana Distribution, the world's largest distributor of music, includes the retail distribution in the United States, Canada and digital worldwide.
