Billboard Gospel Chart Debut At #8 For Bishop K.W. Brown Presents Earl Bynum and The Mount Unity Choir
Under the ministerial leadership of Bishop K.W. Brown and the musical direction of International Gospel artist and two time Stellar Award nominee Minister Earl Bynum, The Mount Unity Choir, with over 100 voices strong, landed on Billboard Current Top 40 Gospel Albums Chart at #8 with their debut release BISHOP K.W. BROWN PRESENTS EARL BYNUM AND THE MOUNT UNITY CHOIR LIVE.

This past July some of the
leading ladies in gospel music came together for a power-packed live CD recording at the Temple of Deliverance COGIC, the historic Memphis church founded by the late Bishop G.E. Patterson as Bountiful Blessings Church in 1975. Aside from being a superior preacher, Bishop Patterson was also known as a soul-stirring singer of traditional gospel standards such as “My Record Will Be There” and “Inside the Gate.” The current pastor, Superintendent Milton R. Hawkins, is keeping Bishop Patterson’s musical legacy alive by partnering with Habakkuk Music to release a new CD entitled, “Pastor Milton R. Hawkins Presents In The Sanctuary” by the church’s 200+voice Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ Women’s Choir Live. The twelve song CD was produced by noted musician/ composer Derrick Starks and features the choir performing with soloists such as Grammy Award winner Karen Clark Sheard, Tamela Mann (currently #1 on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart with her smash hit “Take Me To The King”) and veteran vocalist Lisa Page Brooks who is best known for her 2010 #1 hit “I Want To Say Thank You.” READ MORE ➤
